(1) Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.
(2) For one believeth that he may eat all things: another, who is weak, eateth herbs.
(3) Let not him that eateth despise him that eateth not; and let not him which eateth not judge him that eateth: for God hath received him.
(4) Who art thou that judgest another man's servant? to his own master he standeth or falleth. Yea, he shall be holden up: for God is able to make him stand.
“for God hath received him”. It is hard for us NOT to judge other people who claim to be Christians, but do not live the same way we do. We want to impose our understanding of scripture on EVERY Christian’s life.
But the bible says, “whosoever will” may call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. It does NOT say, “who ever cleans up his life and lives according to holly’s standards” may call upon the name of the Lord!
We are not to judge another man’s servant. God will judge in His time.
